On occasion, we may train outdoors when possible, so please wear/bring appropriate shoes.
While training indoors, masks are OPTIONAL. PLEASE do not come to class if you feel sick.
All WTSDA attendance rules still apply for advancement.

Pocono Tang Soo Do is a non-profit martial arts school with over forty years experience training students. As part of the World Tang Soo Do association, our Black Belts are globally recognized martial artists. We are more than a school, we are a family, with members ranging from five to seventy years of age. Our goal is to bring affordable martial arts instruction to ANYONE who has an interest.

Pocono Tang Soo Do is located in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. Tang Soo Do is the traditional form of Tae Kwon Do. We train using time-honored methods - employing physical fitness, stretching, floor exercise, rank specific training and one on one instruction for new students. Our Black Belt instructors are certified by the World Tang Soo Do Association, unlike some schools whose instructors and Black Belts are determined only by the school's owner. Come visit us to watch a class, speak to the Master, the Black Belts and students to get a feel for what it takes and decide if Tang Soo Do is for you.

Pocono Tang Soo Do is part of the World Tang Soo Do Association's Region 8. We encourage participation in all events, as a competitor, scorekeeper, judge (all require testing and certification), security or just volunteering! The events are run by volunteers!

POCONO TANG SOO DO INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION
Our Black Belts are certified by the World Tang Soo Do Association, unlike some schools whose instructors and Black Belts are determined only by the school's owner. All of our certified instructors are also required to have full background checks on file. You are welcome to stop by during any class to speak to them one on one.

NEW CLASS SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
As of January 2018 we have relocated to the Tannersville Fire Department annex building. Our regular class schedule is only 2 days a week - Monday and Thursday evening 6-8pm . Little Dragons (children under 10) have class ONLY on Thursdays, 6-7pm. Additional classes, events and practice sessions are scheduled as needed. Black Belt Club preempts regular classes on the 4th Monday of each month. Please check the calendar (link at the top of the page) for updated schedules and class cancelations.
